2011-2012 Board Members

 

President: Leslie Batistich

Leslie was born and raised in Monterey Bay, CA. She came to Minden in 1995 where she currently resides and owns Minden Hoof Care and Farrier Supply /HOOF-it Technologies. She has previously served on the Board of Directors as Secretary and twice as Vice President. She has been an active member since 2006.

Vice President: Kyra Simmons

Kyra came to us from Gillette, WY in 2011. She currently works as an accountant for Kinross, a gold mining company in Reno.

Secretary: Megan Pieters

Megan was born and raised in Torrance, CA and moved to Reno in 2007 where she was a physical therapist in the Carson Valley. She is currently working in Reno, however remains a dedicated member to the Women's Club in Douglas County. She has served as President, Vice President, and Membership Director on the Board. She has been an active member since 2007.

Director Public Relations Jessie Wetzel:

Born in Reno Nevada she is a Nevada Native - currently raising her family in Minden. She was a member of the Women's club from 2003 to 2007. After taking a small break for family leave she returned to the club in 2009. She has served on the Board of Directors as President, Vice President, Secretary and Membership Director. She was the recipient of the Outstanding National Liaison award for 2005 - 2006 - an award presented to the National Member who has served as a liaison between their Club and the National Office and National Board this was awarded to her for her assistance with the National Membership Committee, a committee that is responsible for the chartering of new Active 20-30 Clubs across the US and Canada.

Director of Membership: Nicole Riley

Nicole grew up in Murrieta, Ca and moved to Tahoe/Gardnerville area in1997. Where her husband and herself own Riley Plumbing and Heating, together they have 3 beautiful children. She has been a member since 2009 and has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors. Also being our Rookie of the year in 2010 and Member of the Year in 2011. Nicole is not only an active member of 20-30, but in our community as well, serving for AYSO soccer, Carson Vally Club Soccer, Pop Warner, EA Athletics, plus many more volunteering events she can get her hands on to.
